If I remember correctly Kelly didn't have the best of seasons in the years following Shupes departure, but it seems they have gotten better every year since.
Actually, the seasons after Mack left were lined with state quarterfinal seasons. Granted Wyrick wasn't notching 20-win seasons, but JJK was winning 15 or so a year. We didn't win state, but we have gotten out of regions year after year under Wyrick.

Yeah, but that's kinda misleading, Kelly got hot in the LPD tourny in Wyrick's first year, during the regular season Kelly finished 7th (burton was 8th though LoL), and prolly had a sub .500 record. Sad part is the worst team in the LPD will make the state tourny if they can make it outta the district tourny, because the LPD's worst is better then the rest of the region D's best.
